Visualise your ideas with Claude, and share them with Roomi. A free guide to building a demo a client can click, and knowing what they did with it.

## Everything from the first prompt to the follow-up call

Eight short chapters, in the order you will do them, with the prompts to copy and real screens from the product.

- **Prompts that build it**: What to decide before you ask, the first prompt to copy, and how to steer Claude one screen at a time.
- **Sample data that looks real**: How to make a demo look like your client’s world, with nothing private in it.
- **The five checks**: What to check before anyone sees it, and which checks the deploy runs for you.
- **Deploy it from Claude**: Say “deploy it to roomi” with the connector, or use the CLI. Nothing goes live until you say yes.
- **A tour, and a link per person**: A guided tour that pitches for you, and a private link for each person you send it to.
- **What they did, and when to call**: Each viewer’s journey, the pipeline, and how to open the call with what held them.

## For people who sell, not people who code

You have an idea, or something Claude built. Now it needs to be in front of a client, on a link, without waiting for anyone technical.

- **Sales teams**: Send the prospect the product working on their kind of data, instead of a deck about it.
- **Agencies**: Show a pitch as a working prototype, and see which screens the client went back to.
- **Consultants**: Turn a recommendation into something the client can click, and see who they passed it to.
- **Founders**: Put the idea in front of early customers before it is built for real, and hear what they say.

## Build it, then share it

Read them in order, or go straight to the one you need. Each one stands on its own.

1. [Prompt Claude to build something a client can click](https://getroomi.com/guide/build-it-with-claude): Turn an idea into a working demo with Claude: what to decide first, real prompts to copy, and how to steer it one screen at a time.
2. [Make it look real on sample data](https://getroomi.com/guide/make-it-look-real): Sample data that looks like your client’s world makes a demo land, and keeps anything private out of it. Prompts and rules for both.
3. [The five checks before anyone sees it](https://getroomi.com/guide/five-checks): Five checks to run on a Claude-built demo before a client opens it: nothing real, every screen, the device, the tour, and a look as a viewer.
4. [Deploy it to Roomi, from Claude or the CLI](https://getroomi.com/guide/deploy-it): Put the demo online in a private room. Say “deploy it to roomi” to Claude with the connector, or use the CLI. Nothing goes live until you say yes.
5. [Give it a guided tour](https://getroomi.com/guide/the-guided-tour): A short guided tour walks each viewer through the demo when you are not there to do it. How to write one, with a worked example.
6. [Send one link per person](https://getroomi.com/guide/one-link-per-person): Make a private link for each person you send the demo to, so the room greets them by name and you know exactly who did what.
7. [Read what they did](https://getroomi.com/guide/read-what-they-did): See who opened the room, how far through the tour they got, what held them, what they said and what they chose next, person by person.
8. [Follow up at the right moment](https://getroomi.com/guide/follow-up): Use what each viewer did to decide when to call and what to say: the pipeline, the evidence on each card, reminders and replies.

## Ways to share an idea built with Claude

Most of them get the idea seen. Only one lets your client click it with nothing to sign up for, and tells you what they did.

| What you get | Screenshots in a deck | A screen recording | A shared Claude artifact | A hosting link | A Roomi room |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Your client clicks the real thing | No | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Opens with no account to make | Yes | Partly: Depends on the tool | Partly: From a Claude Code public link; not from Claude’s apps | Yes: Unless you protect it | Yes |
| A guided tour of what matters | Yes: The slides tell it | Yes: You narrate it | Not on its own pages | No | Yes: Over the live demo |
| A link of their own for each person | No | Partly: Depends on the tool | No: One address for everyone | No: One address for everyone | Yes: On Pro and above |
| You see who looked, and what they did | No | Partly: Views, in some tools | Not on its own pages | Partly: Page views, not by person | Yes: Visits, tour steps and minutes, by person |
| They reply on the screen they mean | No | Partly: Comments, in some tools | Partly: Comments for people you add, not by public link | No | Yes: Comments pinned to the demo, with a screenshot |

From Anthropic’s own pages: Anyone opening an artifact shared from Claude’s apps, rather than published by Claude Code, needs a Claude account and must be signed in. The one exception is an older artifact published from a chat, which opens without one. Claude Code can publish an artifact to a public link that anyone can open, with no claude.ai sign-in. On Team and Enterprise plans, public sharing is off until an owner turns it on. The other ways are compared by how they work, not tool by tool.

## Questions people ask

### Is the guide free?

Yes. Every chapter is on this site to read, and the designed PDF of the whole guide is free too. Leave your email and the download starts straight away.

### Do I need to know how to code?

No. The guide is written for people who sell. Claude writes the code from your words, and Roomi puts it live from a sentence in the same chat.

### Does my client need a Claude account?

No. A Roomi room opens in any browser, with nothing to sign up for. An artifact shared from Claude’s apps asks every viewer to sign in. A Claude Code public link does not, but its page describes no record of who opened it.

### What does it cost to do what the guide describes?

You can build and deploy on Free. A private link per person and everything each viewer did come with Pro, at £4 a month before VAT.
