Pitch or Roomi: a deck room or a demo room?

Pitch is for making and sending presentations: its advanced links track each slide, and its rooms gather several decks and files. Roomi runs the working demo itself, on mock data, with a link for each person and a record of their visits and time in it. Many agencies could use both: the deck to tell, the demo to try. Every line about Pitch is from its own pages, with the day it was read. Roomi is ours.

Where Roomi is different

  • Your own build runs in the room, static or with a server: every button and screen works, on mock data.
  • A private link for each person, with their name on it, and nothing for them to sign up for.
  • Each person by name: their visits, their time on each app and page, how far they took the tour, and who they passed it to.
  • Comments pinned to the screen they meant, and a next step each viewer chooses.
  • Deploy the demo, and make each person’s link, from the Claude chat you built it in.

Where Pitch is stronger

  • Pitch is a presentation workspace where teams make slide decks together, from a prompt or from templates, and share them in deal rooms.
  • Pitch’s advanced links track visits, slide views and the time spent on each slide: 25 of them on its Team plan, and unlimited on Business.
  • For each visit to a Pitch analytics link, Pitch shows the visitor’s email when the link asks for it, their device and browser, how long they stayed, how many slides they viewed, and their country when known.
  • A Pitch room gathers presentations, links and files behind one link, which can ask for a passcode or an email. Pitch shows when a visitor opens the room, a deck or an attachment.
  • Pitch slides can embed content from other sites, a Figma prototype among them.
  • Pitch has an MCP server, through which an AI client can find, create and share its decks and read the analytics on their links.

Where Roomi is stronger

  • Your own build runs in the room, rather than a picture of it, or a page of it inside a deck.
  • A private link for each person, and you see who they passed it to.
  • Comments pinned to the screen they meant, and a next step they choose: a meeting, a yes, later, a colleague, a question, or not for them.
  • Deploy the demo, and make each person’s link, from the Claude chat you built it in.

For letting a client try the work, ranked

Ranked for one job: a client trying a working product, and you knowing what they did. Roomi is ours.

  1. Roomi (ours) — your own build, running, at a private link for each person, with nothing to sign up for. You see their visits and their time on each app and page, by name.
  2. Pitch — best when the work is a story told in slides, and you want to know which slide held them. Pitch’s advanced links track visits, slide views and the time spent on each slide: 25 of them on its Team plan, and unlimited on Business.
  3. A screen recording — easy to send, but they watch you use it rather than try it.
  4. Screenshots in a deck — no setup at all, and nothing to click. A deck tells you, at best, that it was opened.

Questions

Can I put a Roomi demo in a Pitch slide?
Not inside it: a Roomi room refuses to be shown in another site’s frame, so send each person their own link to it, beside the deck. A Pitch room gathers presentations, links and files behind one link, which can ask for a passcode or an email. Pitch shows when a visitor opens the room, a deck or an attachment. Each Roomi link carries one person’s name, so it is never one link for everyone.
Does Pitch show who viewed a presentation?
Pitch’s advanced links track visits, slide views and the time spent on each slide: 25 of them on its Team plan, and unlimited on Business. Pitch can ask visitors to consent before it records engagement analytics on a link, and workspace owners and admins can require consent on every link.
How much does Pitch cost, against Roomi?
Pitch’s Plus plan is £10 a seat a month, billed yearly, or £12 billed monthly, for one member. Pitch’s Business plan is £20 a seat a month, billed yearly, or £24 billed monthly, with unlimited advanced links and shared pitch rooms. Roomi costs £4 a month on Pro, billed monthly, or £40 a year, billed yearly. Before VAT.
Is Pitch free?
Pitch’s Free plan has basic sharing links, and no advanced links or pitch rooms. On Roomi, Free deploys static demos that can be listed on the community at one public address, with no private links.
Do Pitch and Roomi both work with Claude?
Pitch has an MCP server, through which an AI client can find, create and share its decks and read the analytics on their links. Roomi’s connector deploys the demo and makes each person’s link from the chat you built it in.
Does my client need a Roomi account?
No. Their link takes them straight into the room, with nothing to sign up for. The link is their key, and it carries their name.
What does Roomi cost?
Free costs nothing: static demos, listed on the community at one public address, with total views. A private link per person and everything each person did start on Pro, at £4 a month or £40 a year, before VAT.
Do I have to tell a client their visit is recorded?
Yes. Before or when you send the link, tell each viewer who you are and how to reach you about their data. Tell them too that Roomi records what they do in the room and shows it to you. Our terms ask for both.
Will I hear when a client comes back?
Yes. Roomi tells you when they come back to the room, so you can call while it’s fresh.
