What applies when you open a room on Roomi that someone shared with you.

Last updated: 20 October 2026

These terms apply when you open a room on Roomi that someone shared with you. Roomi is a trading name of Daedalus Technology Services Ltd. In short: the room and the demo belong to the publisher who shared them, the demo runs on mock data, and you can use it to look and to reply.

1. The room is the publisher’s

The demo, the pages and the materials in a room belong to the person or company who shared them with you: the publisher. The demo runs on mock data, and nothing you do in it reaches a real system.

2. Use it to look, and to reply

Please do not try to break into the room or the demo, copy or scrape it in bulk, or use it to attack anyone. Treat what you see as the publisher’s confidential material, unless they have made it public.

3. Your link is yours

A private link is made for one person. If you pass it on, the room asks the next person who they are before it opens, and the publisher sees that the link reached them.

The publisher may also ask for a password before the room opens, or for a 6-digit code we email to your work address. Keep the password to yourself, and do not try to guess one: wrong tries are counted and slowed down. To send the code we process your address, as the privacy policy says.

4. What you send

Comments, answers, reactions and anything else you choose to send go to the publisher. You let Roomi store them, show them to the publisher and their team, and keep them as the privacy policy says.

5. Your data

What the room logs, what you can choose and your rights are in our privacy policy, at getroomi.com/privacy. Where the publisher has turned it on, the room asks whether they may also see what you click in the demo: saying no changes nothing else about the room, and you can change your answer at any time from the top of the room. The publisher decides what to do with what they learn, and you can ask them about your data.

6. No promises about the demo

The demo is the publisher’s software. We do not check it, and we are not responsible for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law.

7. The law, and who to ask

Roomi is a trading name of Daedalus Technology Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14033663, whose registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. Our VAT number is GB423285900.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions about them: support@getroomi.com. Questions about your data: privacy@getroomi.com, or the publisher who shared the room.
