The best Arcade and Supademo alternatives for interactive demos are Storylane, Guideflow, Navattic and HowdyGo. Storylane has controlled links on a free plan, Guideflow free demos with unlimited viewers, and Navattic and HowdyGo HTML capture. If the demo you need is your own working build rather than a capture of it, Roomi runs it, with a link for each person.

This guide starts from someone on Arcade or Supademo. It says what each does better, why you might move, and what each alternative does instead. We make Roomi, so weigh that: it is ranked by fit for this reader, not first. The best interactive demo software for a small team ranks the whole field, and the demo tools comparison goes deeper.

Why look past Arcade or Supademo?

Three reasons come up. Knowing who viewed starts on their paid plans. HTML capture, which looks like the product itself, comes late on both. And each prices its paid plans for each seat or creator, so a growing team pays more. If none of those matters to you, stay where you are.

  • Insights are paid. Arcade’s Free plan is for one user and publishes one demo, with unlimited views and no viewer insights. Insights and Audience Reveal start on its Growth plan. Supademo’s Scale plan adds viewer insights, IP and session data, and company analytics. It also adds trackable and expiring share links, and can require an email to view.
  • HTML capture comes late. Arcade captures a product as HTML, and offers custom share links, on its Enterprise plan only. Supademo’s guided demos are made from screenshots and video. HTML demos start on its Business plan, and clickable sandbox demos on Growth.
  • A price for each seat. Arcade’s Growth plan is $50 a seat a month, billed monthly, or $42.50 a seat a month, billed yearly. Supademo’s Scale plan is $50 a creator a month, billed monthly, or $38 a creator a month, billed yearly.

What do Arcade and Supademo do better?

Both are quick to start on. Arcade captures from a browser extension, a desktop app or a Figma plugin on every plan, and lists its MCP on Free. Supademo gives you several demos free, and shares one as a link, an embed, a video or a PDF. Its first paid plan adds a password and an email gate.

  • Arcade’s capture. Arcade captures a demo with its Chrome extension, its desktop app for Mac and Windows, its Figma plugin or uploaded media, on every plan.
  • Arcade’s exports. Arcade exports a demo as an MP4 video or a GIF from its Growth plan; its Free plan does not.
  • Arcade with your assistant. Arcade lists its MCP among what its Free plan includes.
  • Supademo’s free plan. Supademo’s Free plan is free for one creator, with five guided demos and unlimited views. Supademo’s Free plan shares a demo as a link, an embed, a video or a PDF.
  • Supademo’s link controls. Supademo’s password protection, expiring share links and requiring an email to view start on its Scale plan; its Free plan has none of them.

The alternatives, ranked for leaving Arcade or Supademo

Ranked for a team of one to five moving off either tool, by how well each fits that move:

  1. Storylane — personalised, expiring and password-protected links on its free plan, and voiceovers and HubSpot when you pay.
  2. Guideflow — the move if staying free matters most: no cap on viewers on its free plan, mobile demos too, and visitor identification once you pay for Solo.
  3. Navattic — HTML capture even on its free plan, and Salesforce and Marketo from Base, with no published prices.
  4. Roomi (ours) — when the demo you need is your own working build: a link for each person, and their time on each app and page. It is not a capture tool, so it suits you only if the build exists.
  5. HowdyGo — the move if HTML capture matters most and you can pay from day one: its first plan already has HTML demos, personalised links and unlimited users.
  • Storylane. Storylane’s comparison table lists public and personalised links, expiry dates, password protection and domain-restricted access on every plan, Free included. Private demo links are on its Enterprise plan. Storylane’s Starter plan adds AI voiceovers and translations, alerts, HubSpot and its own MCP. Premium adds Salesforce, multi-language demos and deal rooms that hold demos, PDFs and videos.

  • HowdyGo. HowdyGo’s Starter plan has share links, embedded demos and personalised demo links; password-protected demos start on Pro.

Arcade or Supademo: which, if you are choosing between them?

Neither wins outright; the job decides. Arcade suits a team that wants quick captures, with video and GIF export once it pays. Supademo suits a team that wants several demos free, and trackable links, an email gate and a password on its first paid plan. Both price that first paid plan for each seat or creator.

  • Arcade. Arcade’s Growth plan is $50 a seat a month, billed monthly, or $42.50 a seat a month, billed yearly. Arcade exports a demo as an MP4 video or a GIF from its Growth plan; its Free plan does not.
  • Supademo. Supademo’s Scale plan is $50 a creator a month, billed monthly, or $38 a creator a month, billed yearly. Supademo’s password protection, expiring share links and requiring an email to view start on its Scale plan; its Free plan has none of them.

Roomi against Arcade and Roomi against Supademo set each beside ours, row by row.

Is there a free Arcade or Supademo alternative?

Yes. Storylane, Guideflow and Navattic each have a free plan. Storylane’s has personalised, expiring and password links, Guideflow’s puts no cap on viewers but adds a watermark, and Navattic’s captures HTML. Roomi is free to start too, but its free plan has no private links: a demo there is a draft, or a public listing.

  • Storylane. Storylane’s Free plan has one seat and one published demo, with unlimited views, lead capture and basic analytics. Free and Starter demos are made from screenshots and video; HTML demos start on Growth.
  • Guideflow. Guideflow’s Free plan has one team member and five demos, with unlimited viewers, seven days of analytics and a watermark.
  • Navattic. Navattic’s free Starter plan has one seat and one demo, captured as HTML or made from media, with unlimited views and basic analytics.
  • Roomi. Free deploys static demos, as a draft only your workspace opens or listed publicly on the community. A private link for each person starts on Pro. Pricing has every plan.

What if you have the working app?

Then a capture may be a step you can skip. A captured demo has to be redone each time the product changes. A room shows your latest build on every link’s next load, and each person tries their own path through it. Keep a captured tour on your website if you like, and send prospects the build.

Storylane and Navattic alternatives when you have the real app ranks the tools for that reader. Interactive demo types explained says what a capture, a sandbox and the real app each are. If what you record today is a video walkthrough, Loom alternatives for product demos compares those.

Start with the build. Deploy it on Free and open it as a viewer would. Then, on Pro, make each person their own link. Sharing a private link shows how.
